On Sunday, July 21, 2024, the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), The RAMMY Awards Gala held their 42nd annual celebration at Walter E. Washington D.C. Convention Center.
Over 1000 guests graced the Walter E. Washington D. C. Convention Center. This year awards were presented during a cinema-style seated ceremony. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with a selection of appetizers. A celebration with dinner and dancing followed in the salon ballroom where guests enjoyed an array of tantalizing food showcased at different food stations. In addition, there was a karaoke room where several guests displayed their singing skills as well as engaging activation stations and photo opportunity areas.
The Washington D.C. National and Commanders team's mascots took photos with guests on the ballroom floor. The Washington Nationals had two mascots, Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and George Washington. They also had the Washington Commander mascot named Major Tuddy, and he certainly was enjoying himself getting down low on the dance floor while entertaining guests.
